Delicious Food and Drinks at the FOC in Barceloneta
Yesterday, it was time for our monthly intern meeting in sunny Barcelona. This time we went to FOC BCN, a restaurant at the seafront of Barceloneta. When we arrived it was quite crowded as not only tourists but also many locals had decided to go there after a day at the beach.
The rather inconspicuous little restaurants alongside the many other bars in this neighbourhood offers everything the Spanish cuisine is known for: from classic Latin American food such as burritos and tapas to delicious burgers and finger food. What a great location for the interns to meet, to get to know each other and to exchange their experiences!
At 8 pm we meet at the cozy locality to try the delicious food, the cocktails and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with music and candlelight.
Everyone is very chatty and talks about their experiences and adventures. Some have just arrived in the city a couple of days ago while others have been in Barcelona for a couple of months: a great basis for a lively exchange as everyone can help each other with useful tips. Since all interns are in the same situation, there is always something to talk, discuss and of course laugh about. The best thing about it: new contacts are made and joint weekend trips are discussed.
